साल में जिफ का प्रवेश हम सब के लिये गर्व की बात कही जा सकती है.
अब तक जिफ का लगातार आयोजित होते रहना और विश्व भर में एक नई पहचान बनाना अपने आप में एक मिशाल है.
मेरे मन में एक डर हमेशा से रहता था की जिफ कहीं आर्थिक संकट में नहीं फंस जाये जैसे एक दौर में कांस फिल्म फैस्टीवल और भारत सरकार द्वारा गोवा में आयोजित फिल्म फैस्टीवल फंसा और कुछ साल पहले मामी जैसे फिल्म समारोह जिस तरह के दौर से गुजरे वो हम सब हमारे सामने हैं.
जिफ के साथ एक खास और अलग बात
ये हैं की ये सरकारी आयोजन
या किसी बढे व्यक्ति का समारोह
नहीं है.
इसे
विश्व भर से फिल्म समुदाय
के लिये डिजाईन किया गया है.
ये
समारोह फिल्म मेकर्स,
डेलिगेटस
और फिल्म लवर्स का समारोह
है.
जिफ
ने विश्व में अब तक 100
देशों
तक पहचान बनाई है.
हजारों
फिल्म मेकर्स इस मिशन में
जुडने जयपुर आये हैं और आ रहे
हैं. ये
जयपुर,
प्रदेश
और देश की पहचान का बडा मानक
बना है.
इसे
बनाया है आप सब की भागीदारी
ने. जिफ
विश्व के फिल्म मेकर्स का
ही नहीं हर उस व्यक्ति,
डेलिगेट
का समारोह है जो इससे जुडता
है, और
उसका भी जो जिफ से जुडना चाहता
है.
पर
ये दौर,
ये
समय जिफ के भविष्य के लिये
बहुत महत्वपुर्ण है.
मैं
और जिफ परिवार आप से उम्मीद
करते हैं की आप जिफ को जो भी
बन सकेगा आर्थिक सपोर्ट कर
सकेंगे.

A HUMBLE PLEA:
You are right in questioning everything that we do...rightfully so. But trust us, when we say, it is with great passion and humility we try and provide you with a festival of a particular standard each year. We too are human and we too err, we know, but trust us we strive to improve year on year and hopefully we do. If you have any feedback to provide us, have any support, idea, suggestion you think will help the festival improve, do come forth, we are happy to have you as part of the festival family. But please, before you choose to criticize, belittle or berate what we have so painstakingly try to put together, take the liberty to call us and ask us why or what happened. This is your festival and you should know. Once again thank you every so much for this heartfelt support, we are truly very grateful. The Founder Director of the Jaipur International Film Festival is always available for all clarifications on funds, expenses, operations, etc.
What is this campaign for?
The annual JIFF over the last few years for those of you who has been attending it and/or following it know that our aim is to provide a platform for cinema lovers to interact and watch the best of world cinema. This year more than ever, we need your support to ensure that we are able to pull off yet another festival, with the same amount of gusto and passion, if not more. The campaign of #pledge4JIFF is a means to an end, in trying to ensure the flame that has lived on for 14 years does not dissipate or extinguish that easily.
But I want to be
part of this initiative into making the 16th JIFF 2024 happen.
We humbly request you
to get together with you friends and at your level put together
the minimum required amount and thereby be a part of this
initiative. The idea is not to make it inconvenient for anyone,
but with time racing against us, our aim is to ensure that we are
able to move past this difficult time quickly to be able to bring

I can't contribute monetarily, but still want to play a part in any way, what can I do?
Please help us spread the word, this is as much as your festival. We are simply overwhelmed with the sort of support we are receiving and everything that we worked towards the last few years is bearing fruit, with individuals such as you taking ownership of the festival. It's gestures like this make us want to continue doing what we love doing, organizing the festival and bringing the best of world cinema out to you.
Why do need 25.00 lac (50000 $)? Where is the money spent
Our aim has always been to be a completely transparent and responsible festival. JIFF is a not-for-profit Trust, so any monies earned is put back into the festival. The one crores needed to make this year’s edition a reality is ideally split as below. Sourcing of films (15%), Hospitality and International travel for Juries and delegates (15%), Festival delegate materials and branding (20%) Prize money, Logistics (10%), Administration costs (20%), Event management (20%), Projection (20%). Like most festivals major costs include getting the best of films, venue, hotels, branding, logistics, awards, editorial materials etc. For example, while you end up paying 1000 on an average for registration, the cost of producing the bag, lanyard, badge, catalogue, the back-end systems and management of it ends up costing us approximately that, this notwithstanding the fact the major costs of venue, sourcing films and so on. Our aim is always to deliver the best possible festival and that we with great amount of pride say is our sole commitment. Jaipur Int. Film Festival has been admired by several organizations for its cost-effective operations for a Festival of its dimensions.

Like India's biggest film campaign was done last year. This information is available on the home page of the website. From 2024, campaign will be for World Cinema all over the world. This year JIFF needs all your support. You can cooperate as per your wish. You can do this support by taking membership, donating and delegate registration.
