History of Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF)

The Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF), the world's fastest growing film festival, is held every year in January or February in Jaipur, India.

Launched in January 2009, Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) has become one of the most recognized world film festivals organized annually in Rajasthan.

The purpose of this film festival is to promote new filmmakers and encourage the exchange of knowledge, ideas, information, and culture between India and other nations through cinema. JIFF also promotes friendship and cooperation among people around the world through films and documentaries.

Unlike many film festivals that cater only to selected audiences and commercially successful filmmakers, JIFF aims to connect movie lovers and serious filmmakers globally, creating a deeper understanding of the art of filmmaking.
